There are many different colours and markings of horses and ponies, that's what make them unique. Some colours are only possible in certain breeds though.

How to work out non-solid colours

White + ______ = ______ tobiano or overo
For example, this horse is palomino and white so the equation would be:
White + Palomino = Palomino (tobiano or overo)
Because the horse has more white than the solid colour (palomino) it is a tobiano.
White + Palomino = Palomino Tobiano This horse is palomino tobiano!

Remember the equation?
White + Brown = Brown (tobiano or overo.)
Because this horse has more solid colour (brown) than white, it is an overo.
White + Brown = Brown Overo This horse is brown overo!
